The Royal Art Lodge Collaborations

In 2000 Deco Dawson and members of Winnipeg's niche art group, The Royal Art Lodge, collaborated on a series of short films. Some of the films were made on the set of the larger project FILM(dzama) that Deco Dawson was making on Art Lodge founding member Marcel Dzama, while Monster Care was shot in the basement of the studio on McDermot the Royal Art Lodge called home. While never widely distributed, the films were made for fun and not intended for wide distribution, but copies do still exist.
